Pakistan banned illigal Indian TV shows


Accord ping to a report in DNA, Pakistan has apparently decided to ban all Indian films in the country, amid recent tension with India. Furthermore, Pakistan's media regulatory board has also asked its local TV networks to stop airing illegal Indian shows in the country.
PEMRA, the regulatory board said in a statement, “The complaints have shown serious concerns on this issue (illegal Indian contents) in the wake of current situation between India and Pakistan. Complaints have urged PEMRA to impose immediate ban on broadcast and distribution of illegal Indian channels and illegal Indian DTH.”
The report said that now with the regulation on Indian TV shows in Pakistan, popular shows such as Naagin 2, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai or Kumkum Bhagya won’t apparently be aired in the country.

Filmmaker duo Abbas-Mustan have roped in first-timer Eshan Shanker in a prominent role in their romantic thriller 'Machine', which releases on March 17.
